Welcome to the Personal section! This is where you can talk to students across the country! In this highly interactive area you can talk to other students, create a personal profile, check out who's going to which uni, upload photos and videos and much, much more.

The first thing to do is create your own personal profile - this will give you access to the social network. Creating a Pure Potential profile is really easy, really quick and a lot of fun. You can disclose as much or as little information about yourself as you want - we will always keep your personal information 100% confidential. We will only show what you choose to share and best of all it's FREE.

Once you are a member you will be able to:

• Customise your profile by adding your own photos, message tags, music and videos. Once you've done that we'll upload it onto the members' board. You'll then be part of the network and will be able to find out what everyone else is up to too.
• Write your own blog, the revolutionary way to get your opinions heard by thousands. Tell everyone anything from your scary interview experience, to what you think of Blair's foreign policy to what you did last weekend - anything goes! Then sit back and wait for other members of the network to post their comments - let the debate begin...
• Got an event coming up and want to tell people about it? Send out a bulletin to all your friends! It's quick and easy to let people know about your local careers fair / university open day / gig / party.
• Got a question? Post it on the forum where you can ask thousands of students anything you like. Ever wondered what the best journal to read for your medicine interview is? Or whether the nightlife in Newcastle is better than Leeds? Or if anyone out there has a spare ticket to see your favourite band?
• Join a club! How about 'Medics at Newcastle', 'We love Liverpool FC' or 'Considering Oxbridge'? They're a brilliant way to meet like-minded people and swap information online. Start your own today!
